An official delegation from European Central University paid an introductory visit to BAU International University Batumi. During the working meeting held as part of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two institutions.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by BAU International University Batumi Rector Irine Imerlishvili and European Central University Rector Gocha Tutberidze.

At the meeting, prospective areas of co-operation were discussed, such as the development of student and academic staff exchange programmes, the implementation of joint education and research projects, the organisation of academic events, and the sharing of professional experience.

As part of the programme, the delegation visited the university campus and obtained comprehensive information about the educational infrastructure and academic environment.

The signed Memorandum of Understanding constitutes an important step in terms of strengthening institutional ties and developing long-term academic co-operation.
